MEGASONEX Warranty Terms and Conditions
Warranty Coverage
MEGASONEX (hereinafter referred to as "Manufacturer," "we," "us," or similar) guarantees to the end customer (hereinafter "Customer") that this electronic device, excluding accessories or replacement parts (hereinafter "Product"), when purchased from an authorized MEGASONEX dealer, shall be free from material defects or manufacturing defects during normal home use within a period of two years (M8) or three years (M8 S) from the original retail purchase date ("Warranty Period"). The warranty period begins on the date of the invoice. The manufacturer's warranty coverage extends worldwide.
Making Warranty Claims
Warranty claims can only be made with the presentation of the original invoice showing the place and date of purchase to the manufacturer. Should the product supplied by MEGASONEX exhibit during the warranty period a condition that does not correspond to the guaranteed condition, MEGASONEX will, at its own discretion, either repair the product following its receipt, replace it, or refund the purchase price of the product, provided that no other legal requirements apply.
Warranty Service Process

The warranty granted to the customer is non-transferable.
Warranty Claim Requirements
A prerequisite for claiming warranty service is that the warranty provider is enabled to examine the warranty case (e.g., by sending the merchandise). Care must be taken to prevent damage to the merchandise in transit through safe packaging. For the warranty claim to be processed, a copy of the invoice for the shipment must be enclosed so that the warranty provider can verify that the warranty period has been observed. Without an invoice copy, the warranty provider may deny the warranty service. Additionally, you must include the completed claim form (which you can download free of charge and must be fully completed) with the shipment. Please provide the name and address of the seller, provided that this information does not already appear on the invoice copy.
Warranty Processing
For valid warranty claims, warranty processing is handled entirely free of charge for you, meaning the warranty provider will provide you with a return shipping label for the outbound shipment.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
This warranty does not apply to:
- Accessories or replacement parts such as toothbrush heads and other consumables;
- Malfunctions, damage, or wear that are not based on material or manufacturing defects;
- Malfunctions, damage, or wear caused by misuse, neglect, failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions, water damage, modifications, unnecessary repairs, negligence, accidents, natural disasters, improper maintenance or modifications, or use of accessories not authorized by the manufacturer;
- Signs of wear such as scratches, cracks, discoloration, yellowing, fading;
- Theft or other loss;
- Damage caused by environmental influences or mechanical defects;
- Products whose markings or serial numbers have been removed, altered, or made illegible;
- Products that have been stolen, resold by unauthorized parties, or for which no original invoice with place and date of purchase can be presented.
Intended Use
The product is intended for normal domestic use and not for use in a clinic or cosmetic salon. It is a personal hygiene product and should not be used by more than one person to avoid possible cross-contamination.
Warranty for Repairs and Replacements
For repairs carried out by an authorized MEGASONEX repair facility and for replacement products claimed under warranty, a warranty corresponding to the manufacturer's warranty of 90 days from receipt of the repaired product or replacement product, or until the end of the original two-year (M8) or three-year (M8S) manufacturer's warranty – whichever period is longer in each case – is granted. The original two-year (M8) or three-year (M8S) manufacturer's warranty does not restart when a repaired or replacement product is received following a warranty claim.
Self-Repair Prohibited
Our products are not designed to be disassembled, repaired, or used for any purpose other than their intended use by the customer. Therefore, any attempt by the customer or by any unauthorized person to disassemble the product, repair it themselves, or use it for purposes other than its intended use will result in the expiration of this warranty.
Limitation of Warranty
MEGASONEX assumes no further warranties beyond this warranty. Separate contractual agreements as well as the customer's legal rights – in particular in relation to the respective seller – remain unaffected.
Important Notice: This manufacturer's warranty does not restrict your statutory rights (in particular the right to remedy, rescission, price reduction, and damages) for defects and these can be claimed free of charge. Any existing statutory warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this warranty promise. This manufacturer's warranty therefore does not impair your statutory rights, but rather extends your legal position. If the purchased item is defective, you can in any case contact us under the statutory warranty provisions, regardless of whether a warranty case exists or whether the warranty is claimed.
